Bamidele Salam pays Courtesy Visit to Ede Descendants Union

The Representative-elect for Ede North/Ede South/Egbedore/Ejigbo Federal Constituency, Hon. Bamidele Salam Esq., today 5th June, paid a courtesy visit to the Federal Council of Ede Descendants Union (EDU).

While speaking during the visit, Salam stated that his visit was to thank members of the Union for their support towards his victory at the poll and to ask for continuous support, advice and guidance once his tenure in the National Assembly gets underway.

Receiving the lawmaker-elect, the National President of Ede Descendants Union, Otunba Niyi Mikhail Adebayo welcomed Salam and charged him to be a true Representative of the people of the Federal Constituency. He enjoined him to deliver sustainable dividends of democracy that will aid the growth and development of Ede town and the constituency at large.

Also speaking during the visit, the National Secretary of EDU, Alh. Bashir Oyedemi also advised the lawmaker-elect to stay true to his electoral promises. He advised him to focus on building capacity in young people within the constituency by connecting them to jobs and exposing them to opportunities around the country and the world.

Responding to the words of advice from the National President and Secretary of the Union, Hon. Bamidele Salam reiterated his commitment to quality service and promised to do his best to ensure that the people of the constituency enjoy true dividends of democracy.

Alh. Tajudeen Opadayo prayed for the success of Salam’s endeavors in the House of Representatives, asking God to give him the wisdom required to serve the people meritoriously.
