Legislative and legal instruments like bills and motions are the means by which Members of the National Assembly can effect laws that will ensure a functional society that benefits all and sundry.
In a bid to effectively function in the 9th House of Representatives through facilitation of meaningful legislation, I visited the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS) with my team, to familiarize with the Institute and discuss ways by which we can partner with NILDS to deliver on my Legislative Agenda.
We met with the Director General, Prof. Abubakar Sulaiman and other key staff of the Institute, with our discussions centered around our shared goals and how we can work together to achieve them.
Going forward, my team will be working closely with the Institute to develop Legal and Legislative instruments (bills and motions) on Job creation, Access to Justice, Education and other important areas of our National life.
I look forward to a great partnership with this very important Institute that will culminate in important legislation that will further shape our governance and deliver more service to the people.
