The member representing the good people of Ede north Ede south Egbedore and Ejigbo federal constituency of Osun state in the National Assembly, Representative Bamidele Salam has announced a postponement of the 2021 edition of the BS-E4 Business and Leadership Bootcamp which was scheduled to hold on Thursday 14th of January.
In a statement signed by Rep. Salam’s Legislative and Media Assistant, Mr. Gena Lubem, the lawmaker explained that the bootcamp had to be postponed due to concerns relating to recent surge in the rate of COVID-19 infection as well as the unavailability of some of the key resource persons from Lagos and Abuja for the same reasons.
The statement disclosed that the application which ran from Wednesday, 30th December, 2020 to Saturday, 2nd January, 2021 saw an enthusiastic disposition to the programme which translated to almost 500 applications from indigenes and residents of the Federal constituency.
The statement added that the selection process for the Bootcamp will be concluded ahead of a new date which will also be communicated to selected applicants as soon as necessary measures are secured to guarantee the health safety of all participants in line with the guidelines issued by the Osun State Government and the Presidential task Force on Covid-19.
While apologising for any inconveniences occasioned by the rescheduling the 2021 edition of the BS-E4 Business and Leadership Bootcamp, the member of the National Assembly enjoined all applicants to watch out for a new date which will hopefully be within the first quarter of the year.
