Rep. Salam pay inspection visit on Mapo Grammar School

Rep Bamidele Salam, the National Assembly member representing Ede north, Ede south, Egbedore and Ejigbo federal constituency of Osun state on Tuesday, 2nd February, 2021, paid an inspection visit on Mapo Arogun Grammar School in Ede.

The school is a beneficiary of 3 classrooms he renovated as well supplied furniture materials to.

The Principal of the School, Mr Oyelola Rafiu Kolawole who took Rep. Salam round the project, appreciated the lawmaker for embarking on the project which has greatly assisted in reducing congestion in the classrooms.

The principal also used the occasion to reel out other challenges facing the school including the poor condition of the school hall.

According to him, the school is in dire need of the hall for various purposes, including serving as 2 other classrooms for the school which will help in the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) accreditation, as presently sought by the school management.

Representative Bamidele Salam in his response thanked the principal and other members of staff of the school for diligent use of the renovated facility and promised to look into other challenges facing the school within the ambit of his reach.

He also went round the classrooms and interacted with students during which he offered words of advice and encouragement on the need for them to remain focused, diligent in their studies amongst others personal development tips.
